Golden Land 缅甸之旅 - Yangon

缅甸之旅是我第三次独个儿的背包旅行。不知不觉中，独自一人的背包旅行已经来到了第三次。而每一次独自背包回来后向妈妈报平安时，她便会说“下次不要再自己一个人去旅行了，一个人那里好玩的”。而每一次我都是敷衍地回答 say "OK"。呵呵。

每一次的独自背包旅行，意义与感想都不一样。

第一次的 Yogyakarta 是人生中的第一次独自背包旅行。当时是抱着期待以及些许害怕的感觉。可是当我搭巴士到达 Sosrowijayan后，便兴奋起来了。可能是印尼语和马来语很相像的关系，沟通上都不成问题。有幸的是可以亲身体验攀爬活火山，目睹闻名于世的婆罗浮屠佛塔。

第二次的 Ho Chi Minh City 之旅让我惊叹她旅游业的发达。酒店林立，名胜地资料齐全，让我们这些背包客可以货比三家，选到心头好。Dalat 高原的凉爽气候让人一再向往。

而这一次的缅甸之行，由于是在我新工作开始前的短暂休息，另有一番意义。

缅甸的国土面积有67.66万平方公里，人口6千万。而马来西亚的国土面积以及人口都是缅甸的一半。虽然缅甸矿产资源丰富，宝石和玉石在世界上更享有盛誉。由于受到军政府的控制，发展比较缓慢。可是她的发展潜质是有很大空间的。

我是搭 Jetstar Airways从新加坡出发到仰光（仰光不再是缅甸的首都，已经从仰光搬至中部地区的小城彬文那 Naypyidaw）。当我一踏出仰光国际机场，上了 Mother Land Hotel Inn 2派来的机场接送员的车后，心想 “原来缅甸的车真的像我在网络文章看到般的那么的残旧，大多数来自日本超过10年，20年车龄的车。” 那是因为在缅甸买新车是超级昂贵的。我在缅甸的两天一夜里看到的新车真的是屈指可数。

另一点是，我发现在仰光没有看到摩托车的。便问了当地人，原来百姓是禁止在仰光驾驶摩托车的。在仰光，只有军官可以驾驶。这一点就苦了我这位独自背包游的旅客。因为在仰光，旅游景点都不集中，单单从我住的旅馆到闻名的Shwedagon Pagoda就不是步行可到达的。只是那少于20分钟的车程，就要了我 5000 kyat (1 USD 大概等于 750 kyat)。Shwedagon Pagoda入门票 USD 5，Shwedagon Pagoda导游费 USD5。我的天啊，单单只是去 Shwedagon Pagoda就要了我 USD16。

总的来说，我对 Yangon的印象不是很好，车程好贵，做非常老爷的 taxi, 车费可以媲美新加坡。还好我原本就不打算在Yangon待太久。

在MVI工作 的最后一天终于到来了

2006年8月23日，开始了我人生的第一份工作。且是身在异乡 - 新加坡。

很荣幸地被 Mxx 录取。想不到一做就做了将近5年。在这5年里，真的学了很多东西。感谢老板，老板娘以及 Seniors 们，juniors 们与我共渡的这5年岁月。老板，老板娘真的是 workaholic，且 very technically competent。

相信大家对“天下没有不散的筵席”这句话都耳熟能详。离开工作了5年的环境，肯定有些许不舍。可是在同一个环境下工作了5年，也是时候离开了。You'll make yourself too comfortable if you stay/work in the same environment for too long.

对于将来新的工作环境，是有些许担心的。因为难得可以被 US MNC 录取，必须全力以赴地工作，以便可以顺利度过那半年的试用期。

还记得2009年，我与另外三位朋友参加了我们的第一次 10km marathon (Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore)。跑了那一次的 10km Marathon后，Ei Kai和我陆陆续续参加了一些新加坡的 Marathon Run (Yellow Ribbon Prison Run, Run Against Cancer, Passion Run)。去年，当初一起参加10km Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore的我们，报名了参加半马拉松 21km(Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore), 有一位报名了可是弃权不敢参加。我惟有替他找 replacement。那一次的痛苦经验（对他来说吧），造成他这一次不敢报名参加 Full Marathon (Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore)。最后，只剩下 Ei Kai 和我报名了 Full Marathon(Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore)。

这 (Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore) 都举办在在每一年第一个月的第一个星期天，可是没有预料到的是我的人生大事在今年的12月18日。我犹豫了，到底我还能够参加吗？要完成Full Marathon (42.195km可不是开玩笑的）。你必须勤力的练习，要不然...后果自负哦。

Shey Wen 告诉我，都花了 $60报名参加，就不要放弃。可她不明白跑完42.195km的 post marathon effect （最快也要花一个星期来恢复元气）。

为了不会因为这 Full Marathon而影响我的婚礼，我必须非常勤力的去练习，以便 (even during marathon run) post marathon的effect不会那么严重。

加油哦！

p/s: 期待用三年时间完成 Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore的三个主要 category来献给自己当结婚礼物。哈哈。

大日子

昨天下午，老爸打电话通知我 - 12月18日是我的适婚大日子。（原本打算明年1月，可是1月没有适合的日期）
老爸与老妈真的心有灵犀，我和爸爸聊着聊着，老妈便打给我了。（这情况昨天出现了两次）
老爸行动很快，下午决定日子，晚上便带妈妈与弟妹们到“仙乐酒家”预定酒席 。（老爸说大概是60席吧，还不确定）
除了酒席，学校礼堂也 book 了，”大忴姐“也找到了。酒还剩下 Karaoke, 其实 Shey Wen和我都不大想请 Karaoke, 可是 kampung 就是这样的 style。没有 Karaoke, 也不懂要如何撑场。

接下来，一直到 Actual Wedding Day, 会有很多大大小小的婚前准备需要应付。希望一切顺顺利利。^_^
